How to Layer Your Skincare Products

So, to ensure your skincare routine is making your skin happy, healthy, and glowing, here’s how to layer your skincare products in the correct order. 


 



 

Step 1: Cleanse

Start your morning and evening routine by cleansing the skin to remove dirt, grime, SPF, or makeup.

Extra optional step 1: Exfoliate (2 to 4 times per week)

Exfoliation should be a key part of all skincare routines. The process removes dead skin cells, while exfoliators containing AHAs and BHAs also unclog pores and improve the appearance of dull skin and dark spots leading to a brighter, more even-toned complexion.

Step 2: Serum

For example, you could use a retinol in your evening routine two to four times a week, and a hydrating serum the other evenings (or even alongside your retinol).

Step 4: Facial Oil

Like serums, facial oils are also packed with vitamins and beautiful ingredients that deeply nourish the skin. A facial oil is excellent for sealing in all the moisture from your skin routine, keeping the skin deeply hydrated.
